ROTARY INTERNATIONAL HAR KOMMET MED FØLGENDE ANBEFALING:
Dear
District Governors and District Governor-elects,
As the health and safety of our members is our top priority, we are monitoring the novel coronavirus (COVID-2019) outbreak on a daily basis to assess its potential impact on our meetings, trainings, and events.
With an increase in COVID-2019 cases and new outbreaks daily, Rotary’s Board of Directors is offering flexibility in how your district holds meetings, including those mandated by our bylaws to motivate members and prepare incoming leaders.
If
your government discourages or prohibits gatherings due to COVID-2019, or you
and your fellow district leaders deem it appropriate, please consider the
following options for any meetings scheduled before 30 June 2020:
District conferences:
District
training meetings (including president-elect training seminar and district
training assembly):
Hold your meeting online, considering these
recommendations:
Encourage
participants to complete their learning plan in the Rotary Learning Center (see
the catalog for direct links to the learning plans).
Hold at least three one-hour, online meetings to cover Rotary’s strategic plan, the role and responsibility of the participant, and goals for the year.
Follow all other requirements for district training meetings, including attendance
Delay your training to the end of June.
Rotary is developing resources to support online training and will share those with you as soon as they are available.
Please note that districts will be responsible for any costs associated with delaying or cancelling district meetings. Review your event contracts and consult with a legal professional in your area regarding your financial responsibilities.

Det tillates arrangementer med inntil 50 deltakerne på offentlig sted, der deltakerne kan holde minst én meter avstand til hverandre og der det er en ansvarlig arrangør. Dette gjelder alle typer arrangementer.

Under regjeringens daglige pressekonferanse den 30. april kunne helseministeren fortelle at det fra 7. mai blir mulig med arrangementer på offentlig sted på inntil 50 personer.

Lørdag 2. mai arrangerer Rotary International / The Rotary Foundation en én times Facebook live-sending (en “Telethon”), for å samle inn penger som skal brukes til tilskudd for ulike prosjekter rotarianere iverksetter ifm katastrofer rundt om i verden.

Paul Harris ble født 19. april 1868 i Racine i USA, for 152 år siden. Siden han grunnla Rotary i 1905 har Rotary blitt en verdens omspennendende organisasjon som gjør livet til mange bedre - ikke minst takket The Rotary Foundation.
